Exciting Announcement! 🎉

In partnership with the Special Education Unit, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and Alvernia University, we are proud to introduce a FREE Virtual Parent Coaching Program led by volunteer therapists.

 Important to Note:

  • This is not therapy. Instead, you will meet with an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Therapist who will guide you in learning strategies to support your child at home.

  • These sessions are for parents only—your child does not need to attend.

  • You will be expected to practice and implement the strategies shared during coaching sessions with your child.

Commitment Matters:
When registering, please select your preferred therapist option carefully. By doing so, you are committing to attend all scheduled sessions with that therapist. Spaces are limited, so please register only if you are confident you can participate fully.

Here are the options for the small group parent coaching:

If you are serious about dedicating the time and attending all the sessions, fill out the form below:

This is a very real concern

“Over the years, there have been many things Mateo has done that brought me to the brink of a heart attack. But one recurring worry…wandering. Studies show that 49% of children on the autism spectrum have a tendency to wander or bolt from safe settings. And since our children have little or no sense of danger, drowning is the leading cause of death in our kids, followed by traffic accidents, followed by dehydration, heat strokes, hypothermia, and falls. This is a very real concern.
My son is nonverbal. He can say his first name, but beyond that he can’t tell you
where he lives, who his momma is, what is his phone number. He could probably show you HOW to get to his house, but would he? And would a stranger even understand?”
—Christy, autism mom
